GEDE VOLCANO TREKKING AND TANGKUBAN PERAHU CRATER

START/FINISH : JAKARTA AIRPORT

Mount Gede is rich in many species of birds as many as 251 types of 450 species found in Java. Some of them are kind of rare birds are eagles Java (Spizaetus bartelsi) and plop Java (Otus angelinae). Gede Pangrango National Park designated by UNESCO as a Biosphere Reserve in 1977, and as Sister Park State Park.

DAY 01 : JAKARTA ARRIVAL - BANDUNG

Arrived at the Soekarno-Hatta airport, transfer to Bandung as far as 180 km. Lunch on the way and stay overnight at the hotel. (L, D).

DAY 02 : BANDUNG - CIBODAS - KANDANG BADAK

Start around 05.00 AM, transfer to Cibodas (1.400 asl), as far as 85 km. After the permit process in the office of Gede Pangrango National Park, trekking through small and rocky. Past the waterfall junction Cibereum (1.620 asl) and hot water (2.200 asl). Afternoon late arrival at Kandang Badak (2.400 asl). Overnight in tents. (B, L, D)

DAY 03 : KANDANG BADAK - GEDE SUMMIT - CIBODAS - BANDUNG

Start around 04.00 AM, trekking to the summit of Mount Gede (2.953 asl). The square Surya Kencana (2.750 asl), is a plain area of 50 hectares covered by edelweiss flower, looks beautiful from here. After lunch at tent, then down to Cibodas. After break, transfer to Bandung and overnight at the Hotel. (B, L, D)

DAY 04 : BANDUNG TOUR - TANGKUBAN PERAHU VOLCANO

Start around 08.00 AM, transfer to Tangkuban Perahu Volcano as far as 25 km. Accompanied by a local guide, explore Ratu crater and Upas crater. Lunch at a local restaurant. Enjoy the beautiful city of Bandung at night, while eating dinner at a local restaurant typical western Java. Overnight at the hotel. (B, L, D)

DAY 05 : BANDUNG - JAKARTA

After breakfast transfer to the Soekarno Hatta airport, or other destinations in the Jakarta city. (B)
