MOUNT ARDJUNA, WELIRANG TREKKING AND BROMO VOLCANO

Duration: 05 Days / 4 Nights

START/FINISH: SURABAYA AIRPORT

GRADE : MODERATE

DAY 01 : SURABAYA ARRIVAL - BATU

Arrive at Juanda Surabaya airport, transfer to Batu town as far as 100 km. Lunch at a local restaurant in the city of Malang. Overnight at hotel. (L, D)

DAY 02 : BATU - SUMBER BRANTAS - GUNUNG KEMBAR SATU

After breakfast, start around 07.00 AM. Transfer to the Sumber Brantas village (1.500 asl) as far as 20 km. Started trekking through the region at an altitude of 1.600 asl fields. Then enter Lali Jiwo Forest, which is located on the Northwest side of R.Soerya Forest Park. After trekking for 7 hours, will usually be met with traditional sulfur miners. Afternoon arrive at Saddle Mountain Kembar Satu (2.900 asl) and overnight in tents. (B, L, D)

DAY 03 : GUNUNG KEMBAR SATU - MOUNT ARDJUNA (RETURN)

Summit attack to Mount Arjuna (3.339 asl), for 4 hours. Lunch while enjoying views of the surrounding towns can be seen from the top. Return to Saddle Mountain Kembar Satu and overnight in tents. (B, L, D)

DAY 04 : GUNUNG KEMBAR SATU - WELIRANG - CEMORO LAWANG

Start at 05.00 AM, summit attack to Welirang (3.156 asl) for 40 minutes. The smell of sulfur was felt in the nose. Exploring the sulfur mining area is done traditionally. Breakfast and down to Sumber Brantas village. After lunch in Malang city, then transfer to Cemoro Lawang as far as 150 km. Overnight at a hotel. (B, L, D)

DAY 05 : CEMORO LAWANG - PANANJAKAN - BROMO - SURABAYA

Start around 03.30 AM, by Jeep 4WD we’re cross the Sand Field at the height (2.100 asl) goes to Mount Pananjakan (2.770 asl) for watching the sunrise and panorama Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. Then with ride a horse we’re visiting Bromo volcano (2.392 asl) and Pura Luhur Poten that the place for prayer of the Hindu Tengger society. After breakfast, check out from a hotel and transfer to Djuanda Surabaya airport. End program. (B)
